Poll Finds Lego Trump “More Grounded,” Mainly Because It Must Be Operated by a Child

NEW YORK, NY — A new national poll released Thursday found that a surprising majority of Americans now view “Lego Trump” as more grounded than his real-life counterpart, citing the toy’s built-in requirement that it be operated by a child.

According to the survey, 61% of respondents said the plastic, Iranian-produced figurine demonstrated “noticeably improved restraint,” while 58% praised its “clear decision-making process,” which analysts later clarified consists entirely of a 7-year-old deciding whether to move its arms.

“Voters are responding to the structure,” said one pollster. “There’s a level of oversight here that people find reassuring. Every action has to pass through a child first, and that introduces a natural pause for reflection.”

Focus groups echoed the sentiment, repeatedly highlighting Lego Trump’s inability to act too erratically as a key strength. “It just stands there unless someone tells it what to do,” said one undecided voter. “That’s honestly all we’re asking for at this point.”

The figure’s recent appearances in a series of widely circulated Iranian propaganda videos have only boosted its popularity, with viewers praising what many described as its “tight, disciplined performances.” Critics noted that, unlike previous iterations, this version of Trump appears to benefit from editing, direction, and the steady hand of a second grader.

Parents across the country also expressed approval of the model’s child-operated framework. “If things start getting out of hand, you can just take it away,” said one mother, holding up the detachable torso. “There’s accountability built right in.”

Political analysts warn the trend may signal a broader shift in voter expectations. “We’re seeing a real appetite for leadership that is quieter, simpler, and, ideally, made of plastic,” one expert said. “At minimum, something that can be disassembled and put back in the box.”

At press time, the Lego figure continued to poll favorably after going another full day without speaking.
