Republicans Demand Immediate Investigation Into Suspicious Surge of People Voting Against Them

WASHINGTON, DC — For the third consecutive election cycle, Republicans across the country demanded an immediate federal investigation Tuesday into what party leaders described as a “deeply suspicious and statistically improbable” number of Americans voting against them.

“This raises serious questions,” said one GOP spokesperson while standing in front of a graph labeled Votes We Thought We’d Get. “We were assured repeatedly by our own rallies, yard signs, and Facebook comment sections that everybody agrees with us.”

The investigation request follows several devastating election losses in suburban districts Republicans had confidently predicted would swing their way after “seeing at least three boats with Trump flags on a lake this summer.”

Party officials cited numerous alarming irregularities, including college students voting, urban residents voting, women voting independently of their husbands, and what they called “an unexplained surge in citizens under 40 participating at all.”

“We’re just asking questions,” said another Republican lawmaker who immediately became furious when reporters attempted to answer them. “How can there be this many votes for Democrats when every guy at my diner says the country’s gone woke?”

Conservative media outlets quickly amplified the concerns, with primetime hosts pointing to suspicious evidence such as “crowded cities,” “population density,” and “arithmetic.” One network aired a three-hour special examining whether voting machines were unfairly counting ballots cast by registered voters.

Meanwhile, GOP operatives announced plans for sweeping election integrity reforms designed to restore public confidence, including reducing polling locations in Democratic areas, purging voter rolls, restricting mail voting, and investigating universities for “manufacturing liberals at industrial scale.”

Republicans have also demanded an audit of several counties after noticing that large numbers of people who publicly despise them had apparently followed through on those feelings in the privacy of the voting booth.
