Migrant Family of Three Met at Border by Full Might of US Military

JUAREZ, MEXICO — In a show of force described by the Pentagon as “measured but majestic,” a migrant family of three — including a six-year-old armed with a Dora backpack — was greeted at the southern border this week by the entire U.S. military apparatus.

The operation, dubbed “Operation Overreaction”, involved 50,000 troops, 14 tanks, three stealth bombers, and a fleet of drones that reportedly followed the family’s minivan playlist on Spotify “for intelligence purposes.”

“We take national security very seriously,” said General Hugh Authority, standing in front of a Patriot missile launcher. “You never know what kind of threat you’re dealing with when a mother, father, and small child walk toward you with luggage and hope.”

Eyewitnesses say the family was briefly detained after the father attempted to declare a sandwich at customs, prompting a full-scale lockdown of the region and the temporary suspension of gravity “out of caution.”

The six-year-old, identified only as Sofía, was interrogated by a Pentagon translator after shouting “¡Ayuda!”, which officials initially misheard as “AI threat.”

When asked if the military response might have been excessive, one defense spokesperson replied, “We’re simply ensuring border stability by demonstrating that even the smallest act of migration will be met with overwhelming cinematic intensity.”

The family has since been released and offered honorary U.S. citizenship, provided they can provide proof of U.S. citizenship.
