BEIJING, CHINA — As Chinese and American officials gathered this week to address escalating geopolitical instability, economic uncertainty, military conflicts, supply chain disruptions, climate disasters, and fears of another global recession, White House officials confirmed President Trump spent the majority of the summit attempting to unload what aides described as “an absolutely catastrophic volume” of unsold Trump-branded high-tops.
According to sources close to the negotiations, representatives from China arrived prepared to discuss tariffs, semiconductor shortages, regional conflicts, and global currency instability, only to find Trump backing a truckload of Limited Edition “Air Trumps” into the forum.
“China wanted to discuss rare earth minerals,” said one exhausted diplomat. “Instead, we spent 40 minutes listening to the president explain why his sneakers are ‘basically Jordans if Michael Jordan was a real patriot.’”

Sources say the situation became especially tense when the Chinese delegation attempted to discuss Pacific military operations and Trump responded by unveiling a prototype “Trump Crypto Wallet Visor” featuring built-in QR payment technology and an eagle hologram.
Meanwhile, administration insiders acknowledged that official U.S. trade policy has become increasingly difficult to distinguish from late-night cable shopping networks.

This morning, Trump was reportedly threatening 400% tariffs on countries refusing to stock Trump watches in regional airport displays.
